Amesbury, Byfield, Groveland, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, Salisbury and West Newbury Provides support services and interventions to individuals, children and families residing in the Greater Newburyport Community including food pantry, emergency assistance support, meal delivery, SNAP applications, MassHealth assistance, crisis intervention, Operation Backpack (providing backpacks and school supplies to children) and school and community education programs. Senior support; substance addiction and mental health initiatives. To become a client of the Pettengill House, you must provide picture ID, proof of address, and fill out intake application to identify services needed.
Salisbury Food Pantry: Tuesday from 9 am - 6 pm. Curbside until further notice-by appointment only; Wednesday 9 am to 1 pm, by appointment only; for seniors and medically compromised individuals.
Saturday Night Meals: This volunteer driven program is largely supported by the faith community (Central Congregational Church, Newburyport, East Parish Church, Salisbury and Main Street Congregational Church, Amesbury) in partnership with The Pettengill House, Inc. This nine-month program provides hot, nutritious meals delivered directly to individual homes of qualifying individuals and families.

Through the Salisbury Council on Aging's partnership with Our Neighbors Table and Seacoast FP (Food Providers Network), the SCOA has opened a community market distribution site at the Salisbury Senior Center.
Joanne's Market will operate similar to Our Neighbors Table, offering a wide variety of food items.
The pantry, located inside the Salisbury Senior Center, is named in memory of Joanne Skerry who gave so much and made such a positive difference in our senior community. Please stop in, or call the SCOA @ 978.462.2412 if you need transportation. The Salisbury COA looks forward to serving you!

Our Neighbors’ Table Markets are open to residents of Amesbury, Boxford, Byfield, Georgetown, Groveland, Merrimac, Newbury, Newburyport, Rowley, Salisbury, South Hampton (NH) and West Newbury. There is no income verification or requirement. If you live in one of the 12 towns in Our Neighbors’ Table's service region and you feel that you need food, then you are welcome to shop. Grocery Programs: The Jardis-Taylor Center, 194 Main St, Amesbury-Wednesdays 10:00 pm-4:00pm; Thursdays,12:00pm-6:00pm; Fridays, 9:00am-3:00pm; Saturdays, 9:00am-1:00pm.
