MassHealth participants may be eligible for transportation services to access health care providers. To receive a Prescription for Transportation (PT-1) for you or your child, ask your doctor or other health care provider to submit a request to MassHealth.  Each individual provider must submit a separate PT-1 request.  PT-1 requests which are approved will be authorized for a specific number of appointments with the provider who made the request.  Schedule transportation at least 3 business days before the appointment that you need a ride to.
