Salisbury Farmers Market Vendor Info

Did you (or someone on your team) make, grow, or create your product? Location: TBA
Final market location will be announced soon.

Vendor Space & Setup
  • Vendor spaces are 10 ft x 10 ft
  • Vendors must supply their own tent, tables, and display materials
  • Tents must be properly secured/weighted 40lbs per leg

Insurance & Liability
All vendors are expected to carry their own liability insurance.
The Town of Salisbury and the Salisbury Farmers Market are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during the event. Vendors participate at their own risk.

Weather Policy
The Salisbury Farmers Market is a rain or shine event.
Markets may only be canceled in the case of severe weather or safety concerns. Vendors will be notified if a cancellation occurs. If the Market cancels, vendors will be refunded.

Vendor Selection
Priority will be given to Salisbury-based vendors who submit their application by April 1.
Applications received after April 1 will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis among the general applicant pool.
Preference will also be given to vendors who are able to participate in all scheduled market dates.

Food Vendor Permits
Our vendors are the driving force of the Salisbury Farmers Market.
Vendors selling only the following items do NOT need a Retail Food Establishment Permit:
  • Fresh, uncut fruits and vegetables
  • Unprocessed (raw) honey
  • Farm fresh eggs (must be maintained at 45°F)
  • Maple syrup
Vendors selling any other food products must obtain a Farmers Market Retail Food Establishment Permit in addition to paying vendor fees. This permit is valid for the entire market season and is not transferable.
Vendors who already hold an active food permit with the Salisbury Board of Health may be exempt from obtaining an additional Market Permit. Vendors should contact the Salisbury Board of Health directly to confirm their eligibility and receive approval for market participation.
Applicable vendors can find Board of Health/Food contacts on the Towns website:  Health Department | Salisbury MA
